RUP RANI BHAGRIA 1938 - 2010 Early on August 20, 2010 Rup Rani Bhagria, affectionately known as Chai Ji, peacefully took her last breath. Chai Ji is survived by her husband, Sarwa Nand Bhagria; sons Vikram and Agum; daughters Bindu Abbi and Indu Wasil; sons-in-laws Satish Abbi and Arun Wasil and daughter-in-law Sangeeta Bhagria. Also amongst her survivors are her three granddaughters, Tina, Nita and Tanya and three grandsons, Heman, Vivek and Devansh. Chai's Ji's last few breaths were beautifully articulated - surrounded by each and every one of her children and grandchildren, she blessed the crowd and appeared to be more than ready to be with her Lord. Chai Ji spent 55 years happily married to her partner and loved the life she had created here in Canada after immigrating from India in 1988. Chai Ji will undoubtedly be missed by her family and close friends and all those that knew her within the Hindu community. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Prayers will follow at the Hindu Temple, 999 St. Anne's Rd. at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rup Rani Bhagria to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, RM D1003 - 409 Tache Avenue.
