DAVID LLOYD RAPSON Its with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father David Lloyd Rapson who died suddenly August 19, 2010 at the age of 64. At the time of his death he was surrounded by his wife and children. David was active in facilitating the development of several housing co-ops in Manitoba. Later, he was an advocate to ensure environments better accommodated people with varying abilities. David held a diploma of Architectural Technology from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (1969); and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (1974) and Master of City Planning from the University of Manitoba (1981). He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Ryan, Dianne, Carolyn and Ashley; his brothers, Roger, Ross, and Donald (Cathy) and his sisters, Beverly (Bill) and Karen (Al). A memorial service is planned for a later date. For information pertaining to the service, please email rapson.family@shaw.ca. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Manitoba office of Canadian Paraplegic Association.
