LOIS JORGENSON Lois Jorgenson, aged 76 years, beloved wife of 57 years of Harry, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Lois is also survived by her children Cathy (Bill), Vern (Annette), John (Leanne), Cheryl (Darryl), Jeff (Deb), Dennis (Karen), Denise (Larry) as well as 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, her two sisters Grace and Marlene of Toronto, sisters-in-law Irene and Verna, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was born June 19, 1934 in Toronto, was introduced to Harry at the age of 14 and married at 18. Their love and devotion produced a large, caring family. Lois never worked out of the home but was foremost a Wife and Mother , a job that she took very seriously. Her husband, children and home were her primary concern. Lois was a classy woman, her personal poise and elegance were a great concern of hers. Her most notable quality was her fierce loyalty to all of her family. Her gifts were an outstanding memory, which she shared with anyone and everyone, her unwavering love and support and singing praise of all her children and grandchildren. Lois' smile, sense of humour, caring and loving ways will be missed by all that knew her dearly. A Celebration of Life will take place at Whitemouth Rec Association, Whitemouth, MB from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or Whitemouth Recreation Association.
