BARRET WILLIAM WAYNE PETERSON April 25, 1991 August 21, 2010 Suddenly at the age of 19, it's with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle, grandchild and best friend. He was well known to all and touched every heart he met. He left a lasting impression because of his ability to balance everything. We have been truly blessed with his presence because of his loyalty to friends and family. His values were demonstrated very strongly to all. He leaves behind his parents, Angela Peterson-Wowryk, Terry Wowryk and William Flett; extended parents, Ivonne Gudmundson and Sydney Michaud; siblings, Evangeline, Leslie (Darla), Dion, Myrinda, William, Darion, Adrienne, Brayden; niece Jaylah; nephews, Tyrell, Blaze and Brayden; uncles, Dean (Alison), Trevor (Carolyn), Donji (Eagale), Banjy (Pam), Bradley; aunties, Rosemarie (Gilbert), Karen (Sonny), Mona (Dave); great-nanny, Myrtle Johanson; grandma, Linda Johanson (poppa Keith Parkes); grandpa Dave Peterson (Sharon McDonald) and granny Jeanny Flett. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 27 at 3:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk with a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the St. Clement's Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Les and Dion Peterson, Ryan Clemons, Sydney Michaud, Bryce Brink, Daniel Monkman, Jordan Walker and Glen Easter. Honorary pallbearers are Terrence Stevenson, Kyle Flett, Randal Flett, Chris Easter, Lyle Bruce and Myrinda Peterson. Donations in Barret's memory can be made to Teen Challenge Canada.
