Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL GUDNI GOODMAN April 21, 1969 August 22, 2010 It is with heavy hearts, the Goodman family announces Paul's untimely passing at his home in Selkirk, MB Paul was predeceased by his father John (JR) Goodman in September, 2009. He is survived by his mother Audrey (nee Amundson), daughter Caley and his former wife Cathy (nee Johnson), Caley's brother Michael, and his former partner Kim Ditchfield. He is also survived by three brothers and sisters and their families, Arnold (daughters, Victoria and Charity mother Shirley Ann); Wynford (Karen) Wynford's children, Jean (Chris), Curtis (Samantha), David, Timothy (Nicole); Alexa and Bruce Okrainec; Janie and Dan Hygaard daughter Aynsley; Gunnar and Pansy children, Jade, Jasmine, Thor, Magna; Joy and Bryan Wozney children Joshua and Danielle as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Paul was employed for over 20 years at the Betel Home. What an asset Paul was to the elders he loved and cared for. Cardiac problems forced an early end to his work career. Paul loved his trips to Gull Harbour. Early August was his last trip. An enjoyable day was spent at the family cottage and at the North Point with Arn, Janie and Aynsley. Rest in peace Paul, your heart was weak but your spirit strong. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Knox Presbyterian Church. Cremation will follow. To honour Paul's wishes, a private family ceremony will be held at the family cottage at Gull Harbour. His ashes will be interred at a later date in the Lutheran Cemetery, Selkirk. Thank you to cardiologist Dr. John Rabson for his expert care and compassion.
