Howard was 64 years old. He is survived and sadly missed by his wife Audrey, his sister Carol and husband Bill, daughter Deanna and husband Billy, grandson Zane, daughter Deborah, son Christopher, niece Katherine Campbell and husband Darren, children Brandon and Emily of Dryden, ON, nephew Sean Britton, wife Cynthia, son Liam of London, ON, and many friends. Howard is predeceased by his brother Bruce Jones in 2007, and his parents Mary and George Jones. Howard was employed for 41 years with Sears in various management positions including Service Manager and Personnel Manager, and ended his career as Field Project Manager. He retired in 2005 and loved to spend his winters with his wife Audrey in Arizona and his summers at Wild Oaks Campground in their beautiful and comfortable trailer. He and Audrey made many friends in their travels and were enjoying their retirement. Howard was above all, kind and compassionate; a deeply caring and loving man. He had a lot of empathy and insight into others and he liked to help people. He liked looking at the big picture of what was happening in the world, and liked to discuss topics on a global basis. He was an intelligent organizer and manager, a diplomat in his ways, gracious in settling disputes on the job and in life, and he was considerate of the needs of others. He was respected among his associates at work and deeply loved and respected by his family and friends. Howard was interested in maintaining physical fitness all his life. He was unfailingly honest and true. He had a great sense of humour and the ability to laugh at himself. He loved from the heart. This beautiful man is sadly missed by his family and friends and will continue in our hearts until we meet again. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
