Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES GORDON (GORD) WATT It is with profound sadness that the family of Charles Gord Watt announces his passing following a battle with cancer. On Sunday, August 22, 2010, with his wife by his side, Gord passed away peacefully at the age of 66 years. A native of Winnipeg, Gord was an avid fisherman, golfer and sports fan. He enjoyed a successful 38 year career in the banking and investment industry before retiring to Langley, BC, where he took pleasure in pursuing outdoor adventures. A loving, fun and dedicated husband, devoted father, son, brother and friend, Gord will be lovingly remembered by his wife Elaine Paulson, his daughter Leslee Watt (Brent), his mother Violet Watt, his brothers Alan (Marge) and Bruce (Diane), his sisters, Betty McCrea (David), Janet Watt-Lafleur (Robert) (Chelsea, PQ), and Kathleen Davies (Martin) (Calgary). Gord will also be fondly remembered by his beloved nieces and nephews, Alison, Ryan and Lori Watt, Megan McCrea, Paul André and Marc Alain Lafleur, and Lindsay and Gavin Davies, as well as by other family members, his many friends and colleagues. Gord was predeceased by his father, Gordon Charles Watt. A service celebrating Gord's life will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., at the Society's First Alternative Services, 3070 275 A Street, Aldergrove, BC. A celebration of Gord's life will also be held in Winnipeg in September at a date to be confirmed. A special thank you is extended to the doctors and nurses of the Abbottsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center for their kind and loving support.
