MYRTLE E. FOLSTER (nee STORSETH) August 3, 1928 August 23, 2010 After a spirited battle with cancer Myrtle passed away peacefully on August 23, 2010, at the Riverview Health Centre. Myrtle was predeceased by her parents Edwin and Margaret, brothers Helgi, Chester, and sister Joan (Archie), in-laws Pearl, Fred (Kay). Myrtle will be greatly missed by her husband Sid of 62 years, their children: Wayne (Lee), Bev (Bill), Donna (Ken), Janice (Gerry), grandchildren David, Graham, Teri, Bryce, Kelly, Katelyn, and Chapin, great-grandchildren Ben, Abigail, and Roey, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Myrtle was an inspiration and friend to many. Her family and friends meant everything to her and she saw only the good in people. One of Myrtle's wishes was to thank you for being her friend. Honorary Pallbearers: Grandchildren David, Graham, Bryce Folster, Teri MacDonald, Kelly Waters, Katelyn and Chapin Bell. A Celebration of Myrtle's life will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. To the wonderful staff of Riverview Health Centre, who could not have done more to make Myrtle and her family comfortable in her final days, thank you so very much. I love you my family and friends and even though I have passed I am taking a piece of you all with me because I can't bear to be without you, even at the last. Love one another for my sake and even in the tough times be there for each other. And you will see me in each other's faces and hear me in each other's words. You have made all of this worth it for me. Love Mom/Myrtle XOXO In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Program at the Riverview Health Centre.
