F. PETER DONOVAN Suddenly, on August 21, 2010 at the age of 85. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Shirley, his children, Allan (Mona), Janine and Francis (Fatiha), grandchildren, Natasha, Jesse, Riley, Beth, Katy and Ryme, by his brother John (Shirley) and many other friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his son Brian (Sian). Peter was born in England but grew up in Toronto. He served in the Air Force in the Second World War and trained as an engineer. He worked for the Defence Research Board in Fort Churchill, Manitoba where he met his future bride, Shirley Ray. They settled in Winnipeg in 1972. Peter loved his family, the outdoors, reading everything and anything and talking about it with almost anyone. In accordance with his wishes, his remains were cremated without ceremony and interred beside those of his son at Thomson In the Park Cemetery.
