DAN STEFANEC In loving memory of Dan Stefanec of Fisher Branch, MB, aged 89 years, who passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 at Percy E. Moore Hospital in Hodgson, MB. Predeceased by his father Michael; mother Maria; brothers Fred, and George, and sister Lena. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pauline (nee Zaporozan); three daughters, Dianne Nelson (Byron), Angela Gilman (Ron) and Iris Stefanec; grandchildren, Tyrone (Naomi), Tanya (Jessy), Duane (Fatima), Jason (Zaklina); great-grandchildren, Elijah, Mackayla, Madaleine, Veronica and Michael along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Dan made a success of farming and loved the land. He also took a great interest in astronomy. Keeping with Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family gathering at a later date. We'd like to thank all the staff at Percy E. Moore and the Fisher Branch Personal Care Home. Miss Me, But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that was once shared, Miss me, but let me go.
