WILLIAM RUSSELL MORDEN Peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, Russell Morden passed away, with family by his side, in Portage la Prairie, MB at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Elva Morden; parents William and Matilda (nee Churchill) Morden; brothers Ken and Lyle; parents-in-law Catherine and Harry McBurney and brother-in-law Murray McBurney. Russ will be lovingly remembered by daughters Doreen (Larry) Pettinger of Portage la Prairie, Donna (Neil) Martin of Carman and Rhonda Morden (Kirk Warren) of Winnipeg; grandchildren Krista (Graham) Shindle, Tara Pettinger (Justin Lavallee), Kyle (Alicia) Pettinger, Monique and Russ Martin, and Liam and Seth Warren; great-grandchildren Kylyn and Maddox Shindle and Clare Lavellee; sisters-in-law Marg Flewelling of Red Deer, AB, Lorna Hart of Souris and Grace Morden of Estevan, SK, along with many nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Hartney United Church. Interment followed at the Lauder Cemetery.
