JOAO MARQUES December 7, 1932 August 29, 2010 Peacefully on August 29, 2010, Joao Marques passed away at the age of 78 years. Joe was predeceased by his very much loved daughter Irene and brothers: Bill, Antonio, Americo and Celeste. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Ester, son Fernand (Rose), sister Helen (Armando) (Camara), Marcella, Gloria and many grandchildren Julia, Sheena, Nicole, April and Andre as well as many nieces and nephews. Joe, as known by many, immigrated to Canada in 1957. He worked as farm help where he met his wife of many years. He was very devoted and caring to his family, all his friends, co-workers of various construction companies and to all in general. He is missed dearly. Prayers will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday September 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. Rev. Monsignor Comeault officiating. Interment in Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley. Pallbearers will be George Camara, Dino Tavares, Manuel Marques, Fernand Marques, Mathew Siferst and Ted Kehler.
