Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA PANASIUK It is with deep sadness that the family of Stella Panasiuk announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the age of 91. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rose (Ed), Pauline (Denny), Elizabeth (Gene) Agnes, Fred and Gail (Gary), 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, her brother Steve, sister Polly, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred (1997), sons Walter and Tommy (infant), her parents Marion and Mary Banadyga, brother Walter and sister Helen. Stella was born November 2, 1918 in Preeceville, Saskatchewan and remained there until 2006 when she moved to Winnipeg, MB. She grew up on the family farm by Preeceville and attended a local country school. After marrying, Stella and Fred, her husband of 58 years continued the farming way of life on their own farm where they raised their seven children. She worked hard all her life and gave selflessly to her family and friends. Throughout her life she pursued her passion for reading, knitting and crocheting. Stella was exemplary in her dedication to her family and held boundless pride and joy in them. She was always very interested in their lives. Stella was the strength and anchor of our family and she will always be missed. The family extends their thanks to Pastor Dave Holland, staff and friends at Meadowood Manor for the kindness and friendship they always extended to our Mother. Funeral services were held August 30, 2010 at the Holy Transfiguration Catholic Church in Preeceville. She leaves this earth, never our hearts as her spirit will endure within all whom she loved.
