WILLIAM HOLOWATY 1932 - 2010 On August 26, 2010, Bill passed away suddenly but peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital with his wife and son by his side. It was shortly after his 78th birthday. He will be deeply missed by his wife Doreen, son William and daughter Karen, as well as his mother-in-law Mary Zabiak, sister Mary Roman, sister- and brother-in-law Darlene and Peter Celko, nieces Susie and Susan, nephews Randy, Gary and Gordon, his great-nephew Steven, and great-niece Katherine. He was predeceased by his mother Annie in 1999, and his father Steve in 1989. Bill was born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Selkirk, Manitoba. He and Doreen married in 1965. The longest part of his career was spent with the Toronto Dominion Bank. In later years he worked for Willmar Windows. He very much enjoyed watching and playing golf as well as going dancing weekly with Doreen at St. Anne's Church. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved cars. He was friendly with everyone and liked to laugh and joke around. He was a devoted father and was always there for his kids. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, from 7:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Lunch will follow in Glen Eden Reception Centre. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
