HARRY VAAGS December 15, 1926 - September 2, 2010 In the early morning hours of Thursday, September 2, at Kin Place Personal Care Home, Harry Vaags went home to be with his Heavenly Father, after struggling for three years with the effects of a stroke. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and a sister. Celebrating his memory are his wife Joyce; his children and grandchildren, Linda and Ron Schreuders (Rachel, Todd), Tracy and Chris Bouwman (Bethany, Kaiden, Cameron, Riley), Maureen and Paul Nyhof (Reid, Reagan, Callen), Duane and Rita Vaags (Melina, Isabel, Anika, Ethan), Rhea and Kris Olafson (Braedyn, Ryan, Makenna); his brother-in-law William; sister-in-law Sarah (Tom); and brothers, William (Bertha) and Adolph (Audrey). Harry will be remembered for his steadfast faith and integrity, dedication to the church, passion for farming and love of family. The family would like to thank the staff of Kin Place for their compassionate care. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 1:30 p.m. at Transcona Christian Reformed Church, 131 Victoria Ave. W. There will be a private interment.
