WARREN HASTINGS October 4, 1920 - August 31, 2010 Warren emigrated from Britain in 1957. He served with the R.A.F. as an aircraft mechanic. He joined the Canadian military as a band sargeant. He played drums and percussion in the R.C.H.A. and Air Command bands. He enjoyed his time with the Al Jackson Dixieland Band and his own group The DonWarren Trio. Warren also enjoyed his long career as a piano tuner/technician. He was a handyman who wasn't afraid to tackle anything that needed fixing. He loved fly fishing and being out in a boat with family members. He leaves to remember him, children, Perry Hastings (Marianne), Mike Hastings, (Caren) Nicki Goldman (Don), Andi Dunn (Cliff); step- children, Donna Hazelhurst (Bob), Bob Grimshaw (Tedda); grandchildren, Riley and Erica Hastings, Bryson and Jermaine Dunn, Cindy Kashton (Drew), Tracy Goodbrandson (Alan) Candace, Chris and Terry Storozuk. Kim Leeson (Rick), Sherri Perrett (Eric). Warren was predeceased by wife Rose Hastings and stepdaughter Valerie Storozuk. As Warren did not want a formal service, family members will have a gathering honouring his life.
