ROSINA EMILY TURNER February 12, 1912 - September 4, 2010 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and aunt, Rosina Turner, on September 4, 2010 at the age of 98. Remaining to cherish her memory is her brother Edward (Joyce); sister-in-law Allison; nephew Terry (Lorraine) and niece Darlene (Don). Rosa was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Turner; brother Ernie; and nephew Richard (Marg). Rosa grew up in Headingley later moving to Winnipeg. She was a talented seamstress for Gerhard Kennedy at Northern Sportswear achieving the position of Floorlady . She was employed at Gaults, retiring at the age of 63. She enjoyed knitting, tatting, and crocheting, creating many keepsakes for her family. Her hands were never idle. She enjoyed traveling and took numerous bus trips throughout North America with her friend Anne. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with an interment and reception to follow.
