ROLANDE (ROLLY) MONDOR Peacefully, on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Rolly Mondor passed away at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her daughter Denise, brothers and sisters, Terese Fraser, Gil Champagne, Cecile Carriere, daughter-in-law Diane Mondor. Rolly will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband George, their children, Gil, Guy, Lynne, Bob (Harriet), Ron (Linda), Nicole (Steve) Leet, grandchildren, Matthew, Chantal, Pierre, Danny, Ray, Marc, Rheal, Janelle, Bruno, Tyler, Fallyn, Joel, Lucus, Simone, Hannah, and Samantha, numerous great-grandchildren, sister Antoinnette Bourne and brother Armand Champagne and their families. Rolly enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, playing cards and camping. She enjoyed a good joke and enjoyed teasing people where there always would be her special cuss words and phrases. She was well versed in French, English and Franglais. A celebration of Rolly's life will be held on Friday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service in the reception facility. A private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital and dear friends who visited with their love and support.
