Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRENT VICTOR WILSON It is with great sorrow the family announces the loss of our son and brother Brent on September 2, 2010. Left to cherish Brent's memory are his parents Gerald and Mary-Lynn, sister Leslie (her fiancé Brandy Westcott), uncles Jim (Peg) and Bill (Peg) Findlater, cousins Patrick (Patty), Ian (Sonia), Will (Katie) and Jenna Findlater, Leah (John) Bracken, Stuart (Debra) Duncan, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his infant sister Christa, grandparents Victor and Hazelle Wilson, William and Clarissa Findlater and uncle Barry Findlater. Brent was born May 7, 1984 in Winnipeg and was raised and educated in Valley Gardens community. As a child he played hockey, baseball, soccer and participated in junior provincial bowling championships. At that time he enjoyed hiking, camping and outdoor activities with his family and friends. Brent was a kind and caring individual with a good sense of humour and the adventurous spirit to skydive. He was courageous in meeting the difficult challenges of schizophrenia and tenacious in his pursuits. He was interested in human psychology, animal rights, world issues and was entertained by music and computers. Brent will be missed by we who loved him so much. His sister Leslie will live everyday a little more for her brother Brent. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Eldon Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on September 11, 2010 in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Manitoba Schizophrenia Association.
