JANET NOON SPADE March 25, 1921 September 6, 2010 Sadly but peacefully with her family at her side on September 6, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre our beloved Mom and Gramma passed away. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Beverly and son-in-law Joe. Her grandchildren Jana (René), David (Alison), Douglas (Laura) as well as her great-grandchildren Madison, Brandyn, Sami Jo, Karah, Dallas and Emma. Mom was predeceased by her parents James and Janet Robertson and her beloved husband Edgar (1980). Also her sisters Madge Stewart and Billie Taylor. Janet was born in Scotland and came to Canada at the age of four with her family. She was a remarkable woman who always had a smile and kind word for others. She enjoyed her family and was very proud of her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed all the family get togethers over the years. We will all miss her bright blue eyes and quick wit, but all the memories of a life well lived and a wonderful person will remain in our hearts and provide comfort in our loss. Rest in peace dear Mom, we will miss you. God Bless. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Interment will take place on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If anyone wishes, donations may be made in Janet's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department for their excellent care provided for mom and to Riverview Health Centre for the compassion provided to the family and care of our Mom.
