ANNIE MULARCHUK (nee KITZUL) Suddenly on September 6, 2010, Annie passed away at Grace Hospital with her family at her side. Annie was born in Kelliher, Saskatchewan, and the family eventually moved to Ituna, Saskatchewan where she was raised and educated. Upon completion of her education, Annie worked in Yorkton for a short time and then moved to Winnipeg where she worked as both a receptionist and bookkeeper for Winnipeg Supply. She met her husband, Edward, in 1960 and were then married September 9, 1961. She gave birth to her first son, Shane, in 1965 followed by her second son, Kenneth, in 1968. Annie lived for her family, as they always came first. Later on, she was known to many while she worked at the Downs Motor Inn. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Sophie, and brother John. She is survived by her loving husband Edward, sons Shane (Pamela), Kenneth (Bonnie) and grandchildren, Joseph and Hannah, who she loved so very much and who provided many of her greatest joys. Another of Annie's great joys was in travelling and this was especially true when she visited Australia to enjoy the country, its sights and her time with Shane and Pamela. A special thank you to the nursing staff, especially Lindsay, Tara and Erin, at the Grace Hospital that took care of Annie and her family during her final hours. A donation in Annie's honour may be made, and appreciated, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Prayers will be held Thursday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m., Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A celebration will be held on Friday, September 10 at 9:30 a.m. at Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, 1175 Main St. with interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Eternally Remembered
