ANNETTE LAMBERT (nee LEMIRE) July 31, 1922 - September 8, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Lambert (Lemire). Left to cherish in her memory are her children: Paulette Hudzick, Louise Douthart (Gerry), Irene Lambert-Gobeil, Eveline Hepburn (Derek), Jerry (Irma), Rose-Marie, and Rick (Diane); her grandchildren: Mary Anne, Christine and Clint; Robert, Lynn Marie, Michelle and Alain; Chantelle; Russ and Shane; Amanda; James; Ryan and Jeremy; her great-grandchildren: Amanda, Neil, Brenden, Reanna, Ryan, Devon, Cameron, Jaron, Madeleine, Adam, Ella, Ava and Avery and Annette's sister Alice Cormier; her brother-in-law August Peloquin and several nieces and nephews. Annette was predeceased by her husband Wilfrid in 2005, her sisters Bernadette Blanchet and Juliette Peloquin, and sons-in-law Pete Hudzick and Art Desharnais. Annette worked for Revenue Canada for several years, and even as recently as a few weeks ago, she would remind her family of the great memories of these times. She touched many lives and was loved by her friends and family. After a major stroke four and a half years ago, it was with the aid of many that made it possible for her to continue enjoying her family and gaining new friendships. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home, Qi yang, Kim Barnard, the staff at Concordia Hospital and all who aided in the caring, compassion and understanding of Annette. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Viewing will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11 in the St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB. (204) 949-2000. Your suffering is over Mom, and Dad was waiting to rejoin with you . The great memories of you however is left in our hearts. You will be missed by us all. DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949
