BETTY BLOWS (nee TAYLOR) October 3, 1927 - July 29, 2010 Peacefully on July 29, 2010, Betty passed away in the Prince George Hospital after a lengthy illness, at the age of 82. She was born in Selkirk, Manitoba and spent her early years on the family farm in Netley. She is survived by Harold, father of their children, daughter Lee (grandson Brydon) and son Lyle (grandaughters Tiffany, Katrina, Alaina and grandson Dustin). Also survived by sisters Verna (Alfred) Wallace and Audrey Veitch, brother Gordon (Laura) Taylor and sister-in-law Elsie Taylor. Also survived by her cousins, many nieces and nephews and their families as well as the Blows' sisters in BC - Margaret, Jean, Betty, Kay and Dot. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Ross and brothers-in-law David Veitch and Bud Blows. After her marriage in 1953 they moved out to BC. Betty worked in Surrey Memorial Hospital for 16 years and resided in Surrey after her retirement. Later she moved to the farm with Lee and her family for some years, then moved with them to Prince George and had resided there until her passing. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
