BRIAN CHARLES CHALLIS April 5, 1960 September 9, 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Brian Challis in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on September 9, 2010. Left to cherish his memory are his life partner, Betty, and son, Wilbert; stepchildren, Seraphine and her daughter, Daysha, Kyle (Theresa) and their daughter, Aeisha, Mannie (Rebecca) and their daughters, Patricia and Sasha; his mother, Georgina Challis; brother, Roger (Julie), sister, Maureen (Jamie); nieces, Taylor and Carling. Brian was predeceased by his father, David Challis. Brian was born and raised in Winnipeg and attended J.H. Bruns Collegiate and Red River College. Throughout his youth Brian was active with the St. Boniface Seals hockey team and the St. Boniface Legionaires baseball team. Shortly after graduating from Red River College, Brian moved to Saskatoon where he has made his home. He was a dedicated and longtime employee of Wheaton GM where he had many regular customers, and friends. Brian was a dedicated father, and enjoyed sharing his love of sports with his son, Wilbert. Many special times were shared with his son and friends on the golf course. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #63 (17th Street West and Spadina Cr. West), Saskatoon.
