Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryISABEL ANNE BURNHAM (nee RINGLER) The family of Isabel Burnham is saddened to announce her sudden passing on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Grace Hospital at the age of 66 years. Remaining to forever cherish Isabel's memory are her husband Lloyd; daughter Lisa (Peter) Gow as well as their children Ethan, Dylan and Olivia; daughter Carla; brothers George Ringler (Cheryl), Terry Ringler (Lynn), Jeff Ringler (Kate); stepbrothers Mac Allan (Diane), Kenneth Allan (Jean), and Robert Allan (Sue); as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Bernadette Ringler. Isabel was born in North Bay, Ontario on May 8, 1944. She attended Brooks Street Public School and Algonquin High School. In 1969 she married Lloyd Burnham and began a career as a stay-at-home mother and a military wife. As the family moved between various locations across Canada and Europe, she excelled at adapting to the circumstances and establishing an efficient and nurturing home. However, no matter where she lived, North Bay was always first in her heart. Isabel was a very gregarious person who often took the lead in getting neighbours together for social occasions. Over the years this resulted in a network of friends from coast to coast, and she maintained contact with many of them on a regular basis. The family would like to thank all of the Home Care nurses who attended to Isabel's needs during the past two and a half years, especially Patti and Zah. Their help was a godsend. In compliance with Isabel's wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. Friends are invited to an informal open house in her memory on September 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 50 Carlotta Crescent.
