JOHN W. NEUFELD Peacefully at Concordia Hospital, John W. Neufeld, beloved husband of Maria, passed away on September 10, 2010 at the age of 72. Besides his wife he is survived by son Ben (Anna), daughters Sara and Helen (Lena), son Johnny (Ruby), daughter Erna and son Walter (Bev); grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Kennedy, Kailynne, Abigael, Ambrosia, Darien, Ryan, Gabriel, Daniel, Kathy and Jason. Also one brother Diedrich, one sister Lena and many other relatives and friends. Prior to retirement, John was founding partner of Neufeld Carpentry. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the River East Menno Gemeinde, 825 Panet Road with interment to follow in Mennonite Memorial Gardens. Viewing at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. on Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If friends desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba available at the service. The family thanks the Oncology Clinic staff at Concordia for their care and support.
