Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIM) HANSELL July 12, 1949 September 9, 2010 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our grandfather, father, brother and friend, Jim Hansell. Jimmy leaves to mourn his three prize possessions, Tracey (Mark), Janice (Jason and Mathew), Patricia (Aaron); two superstars Erick and Amber Lynn; brothers Brian (Bev), Barry (Diana), Ricky (Kathy), sister Patty (Kevin) as well as many nieces and nephews. Dad lived his life to the fullest. He was a free spirit, followed his passions and did things his way. Our brother was always honest, loyal, and sincere and would lend a helping hand to anyone. Although Jimmy was a plumber by profession, he was a jack of all trades. For fun Dad enjoyed working, antiquing, and tinkering on old cars. In his earlier years he enjoyed sports, whether participating in or coaching. He had a love for music and had his own special moves on the dance floor. Jimmy's greatest enjoyments in life were his three daughters but the light in his life were his grandchildren Erick and Amber Lynn. When it came to his grandkids there were no house rules, thus the indoor soccer and roasted marshmallows in the fireplace. On Wednesday, September 15, 2010, Jimmy's Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmy's memory may be made to the Arthritis Society, 105 386 Broadway Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 3R6. You'll always be remembered, loved and most importantly not forgotten.
