MADELEINE DUPRAS On Sunday, September 12, 2010, Madeleine Dupras passed away at the age of 91 years, at the Swan Valley Lodge in Creston, BC. Madeleine was born on October 5, 1918 in Sperling, MB. She married Andre Dupras in Somerset, MB on April 23, 1940. Madeleine was predeceased by her dear husband of 67 years, Andre, a daughter (Yvette), a granddaughter (Kim), her parents (Rosa and Wilfrid Potvin), three brothers, five sisters, parents-in-law and her brothers and sisters-in-law. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Janet (Bob), Albert (Neomee), Alice (Fred), Terry (Peter), Charles (Shirley), Ronald (Pat/Raymond (Julia) and Brenda (Hassan), two sisters, Gemma and Yvonne (Jean-Marc), four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. The family would sincerely like to thank all of the staff at Swan Valley Lodge and Pioneer Villa for all the wonderful care they gave to Madeleine. Also, a special thank you to all of the doctors whose care she was in. Your kindness will be remembered. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so to the Alzheimer Society, 828 West 8th Ave., Vancouver BC V5Z 1E2, or to the charity of the donor's choice. A Private Family Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date.
