ALMA RUTH GORDON (nee CHASE) B.A., B.ED February 28, 1936 - September 13, 2010 Alma Gordon passed away peacefully September 13, 2009 with family at her side at Roblin District Health Centre. Alma dedicated many years to the teaching profession at The Pas, White Rock and Nanaimo, BC, Roblin and Winnipeg. She retired from teaching in Winnipeg, and moved home to Roblin approximately 20 years ago. Remaining to forever cherish Alma's memory are her sisters: Marlene (Jack) Miller of Roblin, MB, Joyce (Ron) Latimer of Estevan, SK, Shirley (Gord) Holyk of Surrey, BC, and her brother Earl (Myrtle) Chase of Roblin, MB, their families and many friends. Interment will take place Friday, September 17, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at Roblin District Cemetery. Alma's Funeral Service will also be held Friday, September 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Nairn - Chyz Funeral Home, Roblin, MB, with Reverend Karen Kusek officiating.
