DON W. FREDRICKSEN With sadness, the family announces the passing of Don Fredricksen on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. He died peacefully in the care of the outstanding staff at Seven Oaks, who made his last days very comfortable. Our thanks go out to them. Don was laid to rest on Saturday, September 11, 2010 after a small private family service. Special thanks to the staff at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Rev. Don McIntyre for being supportive in our time of distress. Don easily made many friends and cherished the years spent coaching the many young men who played in the North Winnipeg Nomads Football Organization. Many of those he met later in life and was proud to have been involved. If you wish, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in his name would be appreciated.
