IRENE CALDER (1921 - 2010) It is with great sadness and with joy that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Irene Calder, aged 89 years, as she has been set free from her pain. Irene was predeceased by her husband Ralph, parents Fred and Emily Hamblin, sister Winnie, brothers Edward, Thomas and Lloyd, daughter-in-law Barbara, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Effie, and Martha, and brother-in-law George. She leaves to mourn her daughter Lorraine (Bill), son Colin (Ruth), grandchildren Monica (Don), Caroline (Bob), Brenda (Michael), George (Roxane), great-grandchildren Eric, Devin, Barbara, Lacey, Joey, Ella, and Jenna, sister-in-law Dorothy and brother-in-law John, as well as many nieces and nephews. Irene was very active in her community, belonging to the Women's Institute, UCW, 4-H, and always ready to help a neighbour. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Morris United Church at 2:00 p.m. with a private family burial at Greenridge Cemetery prior to the service.
