WILLIAM DOLYNCHUK
Date of Passing: Sep 15, 2010
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM DOLYNCHUK It is with profound sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of William (Bill) Dolynchuk, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, at the age of 102 on September 15, 2010 at the Vita Care Home. William was predeceased by his daughter Rosalynd Happychuk and his siblings Marie and Mike. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Josephine of almost 70 years, children Emile, Eugene, Albert (Jackie) and Ollivia (Brian), along with his grandchildren Timothy (Shandel), Adrienne (Murray), Cameron, Amber, Chelsie, several great-grandchildren and the community of friends and family he made over the century of his life. William was born in 1907 in Caliento, Manitoba, where he spent both his childhood and adult life with his wife Josephine, children and grandchildren farming his homestead there until his retirement and move to Vita. He enjoyed farming, gardening, reading and working his land, and was an active member and caretaker to his parish, St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, for most of his life. Bill's true passion, however, was to spend time with his family and friends, whom he truly loved and who all loved him. His sense of humour, humbleness, loyalty, strong work ethic and caring nature made him a friend to all and he truly made the world a better place by simply being in it. He lived a full and happy life and will be deeply missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 20, at St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Caliento, Manitoba, with a light lunch to follow at the church hall. Vita Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
