MARGO ANN CAMERON On September 14, 2010 Margo, wife of Ken, mother of Carolyn and Iain, died of pancreatic cancer at the St. Boniface Hospital. She was proud to be mother-in-law to Carolyn's husband Duane McClinton and thrilled to be Gran to their children Allisdair and Lochlan. Born in Regina to Frances and Gordon Stewart, she and her sister Valerie were raised in Winnipeg where Margo attended Grosvenor, River Heights and Kelvin schools, followed by her B.S.W. and M.S.W. at the U. of M. She was employed primarily at the Children's Aid Society and the Child Guidance Clinic. Valerie was a welcome visitor for Margo the past few days from Vancouver, where she lives with her husband Doug Nelson and their children Julie and Kristin. Margo did not want a funeral service, preferring people take a moment to be good to a friend. She was. No flowers, please. Kind thoughts and thanks to Dr. Brent Young, Nicole, Dr. Marianne Krahn, Dr. Dawe, CancerCare staff, Palliative Care nurses Cathy and Norma. Dr. Wong at the St. B. and the staff made Margo's last day one of peace for the Cameron family. Many thanks.
