ALICE BUSS (nee MILLER) On September 19, 2010, Alice passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital with family by her side at the age of 83. She will forever be remembered by her daughter, Diane (Ron) Glenn; grandson, Graham Glenn and fiancée, Kelly Uyesugi of Calgary; granddaughter, Darcy (Garth) Bauer; great-grandchildren, Bryan and Alyssa of Martensville. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward; parents, Edmund and Elsie Miller and in-laws, Louis and Adelina Buss. She was born and raised in Winnipeg and lived most of her life in the West End. She was a loving wife and mother who took great pride in taking care of her family and home. She loved to cook and over the years as a hobby, collected an extensive library of recipes. She was a member of McDermot Avenue Baptist Church and especially enjoyed being a member of King's Daughters. After dad passed away she and her friend Eilene Rathert traveled often to the United States sightseeing and to the casinos. Mom always said how grateful she was to have all the treasured memories of their trips together. As the years passed, in the fall of 2006, Mom decided to move to Saskatoon to be closer to her family and we are blessed that she was able to spend her last years with us. Thank you to the nurses and staff of Medicine 6100 at Royal University Hospital for their kindness and consideration to Mom and her family. It was Mom's wish that no funeral service be held. A Family Graveside Service will occur at a later date, where she will be laid to rest beside her loving husband Eddy. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
