PATRICIA ANN BELL November 15, 1934 - September 14, 2010 After a lengthy illness, Pat died peacefully on the 53rd Anniversary of her marriage to her loving husband, Peter William Bell. She is also survived by her daughters Laura (Mike) and Elizabeth (Nancy), and her son Richard (Diane), 11 grandchildren and her brothers Peter, Alan, and David. The eldest child of Nora Kerr (Sparling) Birchard and Ronald Elder Birchard, Pat graduated from Kelvin High School and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. In 1968 Pat and Peter moved to North Vancouver, where for many years Pat tutored dyslexic students. She was an active member of the International Dyslexia Association (the Orton Society), and also a dedicated member of Highlands United Church, where she will be remembered at a Memorial Service on September 22 at 1:30 p.m.
