Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRIEL JOSEPH GILBERT MCKAY June 17, 1943 - September 20, 2010 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gilbert McKay at the Deer Lodge Centre. After a lengthy illness he was called home on September 20, 2010. Remaining to forever cherish his memory are his loving children Randy (Louise), Sheryl Knock (Ted) and Gary McKay of Calgary and Rick (Lisa) of Winnipeg. Also left to cherish his memory is Juliette Garand, the tall blond who was Dad's angel on Earth. Dad left behind nine beautiful grandchildren. They will miss their Grandpa. Dad will be missed by his sisters and brother as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Gilbert has been cremated as per his wishes. Dad also did not want a memorial service.
