Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOZEF KACZMARCZYK It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Jozef Kaczmarczyk on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 71 years. He was born in Brzesko, Poland. Remaining to forever cherish Jozef's memory is his beloved wife Jadwiga Kaczmarczyk; stepdaughters: Halina (Ricky) Pirrie and children; Maria (Czestaw) Kojs and children, Arizona; stepson Andy Gescinski; nieces Ania and Basia, as well as numerous cousins in Poland and friends in Winnipeg. Jozef was an avid soccer player in his younger years in Poland. He was quite a story teller and jokester. He had a career in welding. Prayers will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue, with Oblate Father presiding. The family would like to offer special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at St. Boniface Hospital, Nurses at Poseidon Nursing Home and to George Bibik who is a special family friend for all the care they gave to Jozef during his illness.
