Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN MARTENS January 22, 1921 - September 17, 2010 With sadness and joy we announce that our precious Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Helen, aged 89 years, went to be with Her Saviour on September 17, 2010. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Ben, 27 years ago. She is survived by her children Ken (Wendy), Gwendolyn (Vic), and Wes (Joanna). She will be very missed by her grandchildren Dean (Nancy), Paul (Jessica), Jana, Denaye (Mike) and Max, and great-grandchildren Jordan, Eric, Kaylee, Taylor, Samuel and Mikaela. Mom also leaves behind her sisters, Anne of Winnipeg, and Margaret of Vancouver. Mom and Dad Martens spent many years farming in the Kleinstadt District near Altona, Manitoba. We will be having a celebration of Mom's life at Calvary Temple, Buntain Chapel, 400 Hargrave St., on Friday, September 24 at 12:00 noon with interment to follow near Altona. Rock Fontaine Funeral Director in charge of arrangements.
