MARK RANDALL GOWRYLUK May 10, 1953 - September 14, 2010 It is with sadness and love that the Gowryluk family announces the passing of Mark on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Mark attended Selkirk Collegiate for his high school education. After high school Mark apprenticed as a plumber and later went into business with his brother Henry in a company named Mr. Plumber . Mark was so very proud of this company and wore a gold chain with a wrench tightly wound on it for many a year in honour of his chosen profession. He loved his G.T.O., his Kawasaki motorcycle and the fast lane in life. He travelled to Mexico, Jamaica, Southern United States and Barbados. Mark loved life and life loved him. Throughout all Mark's hardships over the past twenty nine and a half years, his family was always there to help and comfort him, and, in return, Mark always gave his unconditional love to his family. In the latter years, having a problem with communicating, he showed love and emotions through his beautiful eyes. Mark is survived by his sister Doreen (Don); brothers Ray (Linda), Henry (Elaine), Wayne (Bonnie), Greg (Cathie); sister-in-law Anne; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and even a great-great nephew! Predeceased by his parents Metro Peter Gowryluk, Mary Gowryluk (Huculuk); brother Bill; and one great nephew Teagan. Thank you very much to the staff and residents of the Luther Home who were so very good to Mark. Also, thank you to Therapist Rhonda Neufeld who helped Mark so much over the years. A private family funeral was held last Friday, September 17, at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Gonor, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Society. A gentle, kind, loving soul. Mark, rest in peace. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli, in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com
