ANN SKINNER Peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 Mom passed away at the age of 81. She will be sadly missed, loved and in our hearts forever by her daughter Chris and husband Ken McDonald, grandchildren Ashley and Justin, her son Frank, daughter Pat and husband Alf Clairmont. She was very caring and devoted to her family. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the Health Sciences Centre. She was predeceased by her husband in 1969, two sisters, and seven brothers. The family would like to extend a thank you to Dr. H. Johnson, Dr. Douglas Henry, and Sandy for all their care over the years. Through the years she developed a friendship with Brenda and Gloria her Home Care workers and the care which was given to her was greatly appreciated. At her request and in accordance to her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6. For all her love and kindness She asked for nothing in return If all the world deserted us, To our mother we could return. For those of you who have a mother, Treasure her with care, For you will never know her value, Till you see that she's not there To hear her voice, to see her smile, To sit and talk with her awhile, To be together in the same only way, Would be our dearest wish today.
