MARIE FINDLAY HOOKER Peacefully, on September 21, 2010, Marie Findlay Hooker, of Selkirk, Manitoba, aged 79 years young, went to be with her beloved Richard and daughter Carolyn. She leaves, in love, to mourn her passing Gord and Lynn, Jay (Erica) and Kristian Hooker; Judy and Robert, Melissa and Jarrod Therrien, and Danielle (Jeremy) Clement; Roxanne Hooker (Darrell Ethier) and Zack Nelson, and son-in-law Jim Nelson; four great-grandchildren, Amber and Trevor Clement, Natalie Therrien and Tava Hooker. She is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, Pat Anderson, of Winnipeg and Ruth Hooker, of Selkirk, many nieces and nephews, and a legion of friends. She was predeceased by her precious daughter Carolyn in 1980, husband Richard in 2002, brother Bob Anderson in 1979 and her parents Nina and Allan Anderson. Please join us in a celebration of her life at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 28 at the Selkirk United Church, 202 McLean Avenue, Selkirk, Manitoba. Fellowship will follow in the hall at the Anglican Church, 202 McLean Avenue, Selkirk. Burn what is left of me and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow.
