SOFIA WINKLER (nee BAKALUK) August 28, 1928 - September 24, 2010 On September 24, 2010 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Sofia Winkler aged 82 years, widow of the late Arthur Erhart Winkler, passed away. Sofia was predeceased by her husband Arthur in July 1990, and by many of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister Mary Epps of Selkirk, MB; her brother Adam Thomas Bakaluk of Merritt, BC and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Sofia will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Sofia's family and friends wish to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the wonderful care that she received during her stay. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 2 at the Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery). Interment of cremated remains will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Donations in Sofia's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. NEIL BARDAL INC.
