Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ELIZABETH (BETTY) KOBOLD (nee CAMPBELL) Born in Winnipeg November 18, 1920, her passing on September 22, 2010, was peaceful. The staff of the Charleswood Care Centre is much thanked for the special care given Betty and the kindnesses extended her family. Working for MacDonald Brothers' Aircraft during the Second World War she continued on with the company, which became Bristol Aerospace, into the 1970s. She concluded a later working career with a family-related business at age 81. After years of membership in the Business and Professional Women's Club and the Quota Club she took much delight in volunteering at the Western Canada Aviation Museum. She was predeceased by her parents Harriett and Robert; her sisters Maureen Eisler, Lillian Matthews, Isabel Campbell, Doris Hudson; her brothers Alan and Douglas Campbell; and, her husband Victor Edward Ed (1986) with whom she had the fortune to share new adventures as cottage-life and overseas travel. Betty is survived by step-daughter Lorna Marilyn Lynne Kobold Palser and husband, Roger, their family Alison/Stuart Collver; sister-in-law S. Campbell; cousin Phyllis Dutchak; and nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Donations made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment Foundation or the Western Canada Aviation Museum Foundation in Margaret Elizabeth's memory will be appreciated. Memorial services at Charleswood Care Centre, 5501 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg, Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
