Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACQUELINE (JACKIE) LEMOINE (nee ROCHON) Peacefully, with family at her side, Jackie passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 73 years. Jackie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Ron, her sons Don and Ray, her precious granddaughters Christyn and Janelle and their mother Connie, two sisters Beatrice (Harold) Desjarlais and Diane (Ernie) Rivard, five brothers Bob (Juliette), Roger (Florence), Don (Irene), Larry (Suzanne) and Fern (Paulette), four sisters-in-law Angèle Carrière, Louise (Richard) Nolette, Jeannine (Louis) Saurette and Gisèle Lemoine, her aunt Rita Martel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Oscar and Lucille Rochon. Jackie was known for her boundless energy, love of her family and many friends. Her granddaughters held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the many days they spent together at the family cottage. If she wasn't taking care of her beautiful gardens at the cottage, Jackie was happiest with her family at her side or when welcoming family and friends into her home. After the cottage, Phoenix was her second home where she enjoyed Aqua-fit exercises, golfing, and spending time with her large circle of friends. She excelled at Shuffling and was proud of her many trophies. She will be forever remembered for her devotion to her family, her love of life and her welcoming smile. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff on the 4th floor North of the Victoria Hospital for their gentle care and compassion. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, 85 Kirkbridge Drive. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6 or to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
