ADELINE BOYKO (nee RUDNISKI) August 28, 1938 - September 27, 2010 We are saddened to announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Adeline Boyko. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Adolph, children Fred, Charlotte (Wayne), Leonard, Sylvia (Bruce), grandchildren Jamie (Jason), Shawna (Murray), Paige and Devon, step-grandsons Dave and Curtis Shewchuk, great-grandchildren Chace, Khloe and Riley, three brothers Walter, Edwin (Diane), Ben Rudniski, one sister Julie Rosseau as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law and their families. Adeline grew up on a farm near Erickson, Manitoba. At the age of 15 she came to Winnipeg where she met her husband Adolph and raised their four children. Adeline enjoyed life. She loved to garden, crochet, cook and sew. Adeline had a huge heart and was always ready with a helping hand, her smile brightened the lives of everyone she met and will be greatly missed. Respecting Adeline's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West. The family would like to thank the Deer Lodge Centre for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adeline's name to CancerCare Society.
