ROSEMARY ANNETTE FISHER (nee KILGOUR) (STANLEY) September 26, 1940 - September 25, 2010 It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Rosemary (Rose, Oni) on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Grace Hospital. Rose will be sadly missed by her children: Pearl Gordon, Miles Stanley (Carrie), Carolyn Stanley (Jeff) and step-daughter Vicki Fisher (Don); grandchildren: Chad (Jenn), Chris (Kerri), Travis, Michael, Tristan, Taylor, Aimie (Kyle) and Utopia; great-grandson Christopher; brothers: John (Allie) and Derek Kilgour; nieces and nephews: Curtis (Eva), Jeff (Areti), Jordana and Jake; aunts: Joey Lemon, Jeannie McWilliams and Fran Bowles as well as dear friends Judy and Joan, Pat Lindsay, numerous cousins and of course her trusty cat Hercules. Rose graduated from St. Margaret's School in Victoria, BC. After moving her family back to Winnipeg she became the receptionist for her favourite cousin, Dr. John Bracken, at the Medical Arts Building. She remained there until retiring three years ago. Rosemary was never seen without a book under her arm or in her purse and every idle moment she could find in her busy life was seen as an opportunity to read another paragraph or two. Should friends so desire, memorial donations in Rosemary's memory may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 7 - 414 Westmount Dr., Winnipeg, MB R2J 1P2 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
