WALTER JAWORSKI The M.D.C. community is saddened to announce the passing of Walter Jaworski at the Portage District General Hospital on Friday, September 24, 2010. Walter was born November 9, 1944 in Winnipeg to parents Kasmir and Ann Jaworski. At the age of 28, the Manitoba Development Centre became Walter's home for the next 37 years. He loved the outdoors, especially his summer vacation to Camp Sandy Haven. He will be fondly remembered for his mischievous ways and his beautiful blue eyes. Funeral Service will be held at the Aspen Chapel at M.D.C. in Portage la Prairie on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 1:15 p.m. with Chaplain Ron Siemens officiating. Walter will be laid to rest with his mother at the Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg at a later date. Donations may be made to the Lake Manitoba Camp Legacy INC., Box 1532, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3P5.
