WALTER ALFRED ZUK Born March 3, 1925 in the front bedroom of his parents home and passed away into the arms of his Lord September 17, 2010 in the comforts of his own home with his best friend and confident, Sophia Poitras by his side. He leaves to mourn his passing, his children, Judy Alexander and family of Winnipeg, Gary Zuk and family of Selkirk, Barry Zuk and family of Surrey, BC and Valerie Bewcyk and family of Winnipeg. Also surviving him, three sisters, Mary Ronyck of Winnipeg, Ann Zuk of Winnipeg and Stella Mann of Vernon, BC. We wish to thank Dad's best friend, Sophia Poitras for all of her endless love, compassion and total care of all of Dad's needs until the end. We also wish to thank Ann of Palliative Care and all of the staff of Home Care who made it possible for Dad to spend the last days of his life in the comforts of his own home. As per Dad's wishes there will be no formal service and a private burial.
