DENNIS RAYMOND ADAMS Dennis Raymond Adams passed away peacefully on September 21, 2010. Dennis was born on November 20, 1942 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. He was the eldest son of Thomas (Scotty) Adams and Lola Jean Adams (Munro). He will be sadly missed by his wife of 32 years, Lily Adams (Neal), daughter Shannon (Ken) Shumila, grandchildren Nathan and Matthew, his sister Gwen (Phil) Shelvey, brother Roy (Gwen) Adams, niece Susan (Stuart) Bertram, nephew Brock Adams, his great-nephews Zachary, Nicholas and Jonathan Bertram as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Dennis enjoyed reading and loved his computer. He had many e-mail buddies around the world. He was a member of the Masonic Capitol Lodge No. 136 and the Rockwood Unit 303 Army Navy Air Force. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at the Masonic Memorial Lodge located at 420 Corydon Ave. at 2:00 p.m. At his request, Dennis has donated his remains to the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba for research. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3 (204) 889-8525.
