KAREN SPANGEN 1916 - 2010 Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Karen on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the home of her daughter Ulla, with her family by her side. Remaining to forever cherish Karen's memory are her daughters, Kirsten, Ulla, Lotte (Palle); grandchildren, Susanne, Alan, Danny (Maria), Lisa (Royce), Christie (Paul) and Kent; great-grandchildren, Hillery, Natasha, Skyler, Ryan, Kyle, Cooper, Kai; great-great-granddaughter, Arianna. She was predeceased by her husband Svend and daughter Hanne. In compliance with Mom's wishes, a Private Funeral Service has taken place. The family would like to thank Dr. W. Van Horne, Cathy, WRHA Palliative Care Team and Aides, the Grace Hospital Surgical Care Team and Lynne whose support and care we could not have done without.
